Add ONT

From the Panorama PON, ONTs can be added to a different OLT, after the OLT has been provisioned.

Add ONT Type

Use the following procedure to add an ONT to the OLT:

1. In the Common Tree, select the OLT, the applicable GPON Slot, and the desired PON port to add an ONT.
   
   
   Note: If the selected PON Port is already configured with 32 ONTs, an error message states that No ONTs are available for configuration. To add an ONT, either delete an existing ONT, or convert an existing ONT to the desired ONT type.

2. Right-click the PON port, and then click Add ONT. The Add ONT dialog is displayed:
   
   
3. From the drop-down list, select an ONT Type, enter the Serial Number, and the User Label. In the Common Tree, select the OLT, the applicable GPON Slot, and the desired PON port to add an ONT.
   Note: User label rules will set the User Label to [NP] if the serial number entered is a default value (four letters and eight zeros). The ONT is not provisioned.

4. The new ONT appears in the Common Tree.
