Delete

Before proceeding, review the following restrictions:

• The defaultEnvAlarmProfile cannot be deleted.
• The STD_MSAP_BATTERY profile can be deleted. However, during server startup it is recreated from an internal property file.
• A profile assigned to an OLT cannot be deleted.
• Only one profile can be deleted at a time.

Use the following procedure to delete an environmental alarm profile:

1. In the Alarm Profile screen, select the Alarm Profile to delete and click the Delete Alarm Profile () icon in the Main Menu bar The Delete Enviromental Alarm Profile dialog is displayed.
   1. Press and hold down CTRL to select more than one template Name or select Shift to delete an entire range.
      
      
       
2. A warning message will be displayed.
   
   
    
3. Click on the Yes button to delete the selected Ethernet Port Template(s). The Ethernet Port Template Delete Status
   dialog is displayed.
   
    
4. In the Env Alarm Profile Delete Status dialog, click the Close button after the selected item is removed from the Profile Names List.
5. Click the Alarm Profile  Close button to finish the session.
