Delete User
| Note: Log on with Admin or Security Admin user privileges to perform this procedure. |
The deluser command enables users with Admin or Security Admin privileges to remove user accounts from the ESU local database.
| Note: If the userid does not exist in the database, an error message appears. The system prompts the user to enter a valid userid. |
- Command Path - deluser
- Command Path - olt user deluser (OLT2 only)

Note: **=olt user - Add olt user to the CLI Command Path for OLT2.
- From the ESUx> command line, input ** deluser and press Enter. Output similar to the following is displayed:
ESUx> ** deluser <enter> Enter userID to delete:
- Input the userid to delete and press Enter. The following prompt is displayed.
Enter userID to delete: Jane (enter) User Jane deleted _

Note: If the userid does not meet the security policy, or already exists in the user database, an error message appears. The system redisplays the userid policy and password prompt.
