Delete User

Note: Log on with Admin or Security Admin user privileges to perform this procedure.

The deluser command enables users with Admin or Security Admin privileges to remove user accounts from the ESU local database.

Note: If the userid does not exist in the database, an error message appears. The system prompts the user to enter a valid userid.

• Command Path - deluser
• Command Path - olt user deluser (OLT2 only)

  Note: **=olt user - Add olt user to the CLI Command Path for OLT2.

1. From the ESUx> command line, input ** deluser and press Enter. Output similar to the following is displayed:

   ESUx> ** deluser <enter> Enter userID to delete:

2. Input the userid  to delete and press Enter. The following prompt is displayed.

   Enter userID to delete: Jane (enter) User Jane deleted _

   Note: If the userid does not meet the security policy, or already exists in the user database, an error message appears. The system redisplays the userid policy and password prompt.
