Edit the parameters of a specific ONT.

Information Note: * = required parameter
  • Command Path ont>edit

  • Object 
    • * ont-id= - specifies the location of one or more ONTs 
      • MDS slot]-[PON port]-[ONT ID] (x-y-z)
    • admin= controls operation of this ont
      • enabled | disabled
    • audible-ALeRT (alrt)= set administrativ state for audible alert on the ont, used for locating the ONT.
      • admin enabled | disabled 
    • DiffServ-CodePoint (dscp) apply DiffServ-CodePoint 
      • profile= DSCP_Downstream-tmp|DSCP_Upstream-tmp|G-ONT_QoS_DSCP-Down|G-ONT_QoS_DSCP-Up|GW-16DSCP|GW-JITC-QoS|GW-QoS-DSCP-Down|SJ-DSCP|default|tsw_dscp
    • Led-Hold-Time (lht)= LED hold time in seconds
    • Power-Over-Ethernet (poe) select PoE related parameters  
      • alarm-admin controlling PoE alarm reporting (ARC)
        • All the listed edits
      • external-power= represents power available
        • Watts 0-1000
      • threshold= usage threshold after which lower priority services are powered down
        • % 1-99            
    • Serial-Number (sn)= serial number expected fir ONT
      • 4 letters followed by 8 integers. ex: TSLS00000001 
    • type= type of ONT to create
      • 120|121w|121wx|131w|140|140cl|142r|180|202|205|248|248X|702|703|704|705gr|709|709gp|712|714g|728gp|729|729gp|742g
    • user-LABEL (label)= User defined label for the ONT
      • any alpha-numeric name
  1. From the ESUx> command line, input ont edit pon-id=1.4.1 sn=TSLS01234568, and press Enter. Output similar to the following is displayed:
    ESUx> ont edit pon-id=1.4.1 sn=TSLS01234568 <enter> 
    Edit ONT succeeded.
