Enviromental Alarms
The Environmental Alarm Profiles are global to the Panorama PON EMS server and control a set of parameters that can be reported for specific alarm inputs that are applied to a Tellabs 1134/OLT6 (8 inputs), or Tellabs 1150 NE (16 inputs) at the remote location. The parameters can be assigned to control the information that is reported for environmental alarm conditions that are defined in the profile. Parameters available for assignment include the Alarm Description, Condition Type, Severity, and the Service Affecting flag.
Default Environmental Alarm Profiles
EMS initially creates two default environmental alarm profiles, the default EnvAlarmProfileAMUContactProfile and STD_MSAP_BATTERY. During the Add ONT process, EMS assigns the defaultEnvAlarmProfile to ONTs. The alarm profiles are displayed in the Alarm Profiles Attributes view.
Both default environmental alarm profiles can be edited; however, the defaultEnvAlarmProfile cannot be deleted.
The STD_MSAP_BATTERY profile can be deleted. However, if inadvertently deleted during server startup, EMS recreates it from an internal property file.
