General
To view or edit OLT properties in the General tab:
- Logon to EMS and in the Network common tree, right-click on the target OLT and select Properties from the dropdown list.
- In the ONT property dialog, click the General tab.
- The General tab attributes are displayed.
OLT Properties - General Tab (Tellabs 1134 Example)
On the General tab, the following attributes can be edited (refer to Table below):
- NTP Servers and Admin State
- DNS Configuration
- Ethernet Port Template
- Region
- Zone
- Subzone
- Time Zone

Field Description Network Mask
The network mask value as configured in the OLT. Gateway IP The gateway IP address as configured in the OLT. Mgmt VLAN ID The management VLAN identifier for the OLT. Priority The QOS priority assigned to the management VLAN ID. Stack The stacked virtual local area network (VLAN) parameter as configured during OLT turnup. This parameter applies only to networks that use stacked VLANs. Possible values are 0 - 4094. If this value is 0, the OLT is not configured for stacked VLANs. NTP Server Secured NTP Select if the NTP Server(s) are to be configured as secured or not. Server 1 and/or 2 IP The IP address(es) for the network time protocol (NTP) server(s), followed by the server Admin State (enabled or disabled). Key Define a unique NTP authentication key for this server Key ID The key argument is the key identifier for a trusted key, where the value can be in the range 1 to 65534, inclusive, as specified in RFC-1305. Key Type Specify the key type. Options are:
- S - A 64-bit hexadecimal number in the format specified in the DES specification.
- N - A 64-bit hexadecimal number in the format specified in the NTP standard.
- A - A 1-to-8 character ASCII string.
- M - A 1-to-8 character ASCII string using the MD5 authentication scheme.
DNS Configuration For Certificate Enable DNS Check if Domain Names Servers are to be enabled for this OLT. Query Timeout (seconds) Enter the Query Timeout value (0-120 seconds). The default is 5 seconds. DNS Servers Enter the IP address(es) of up to four DNS Servers that this OLT can be associated. Default Domains Enter the Domain Names of up to four associated domains that this OLT can be associated. Ethernet Port Template Port Template to be applied to I/O cards when installed in the OLT. Time Zone Region The region applicable to this OLT. Possible values are:

Subzone The sub-zone applicable to this OLT. Examples for Zone and Subzone is: America/Argentina/Buenos_Aires where Buenos_Aires is the Subzone. Time Zone

- If any attributes on the General tab were changed, click the Apply button.
- Panorama PON displays a confirmation message.
- Click the Ok button to finish.
