Getting Started

This section provides an overview of the menu options and functions available within the Panorama PON Graphical User Interface (GUI) that contain contemporary, yet recognizable menu icons. Some options and functions are applicable to system administrators only.
Information Note: It is assumed that the Panorama PON hardware and software are already installed on the Windows Server platform. The subsequent sections refer to the menu options and functions available to the user. For information about system requirements and installing hardware and software, refer to the Panorama PON EMS System Administrator Guide.
To log on to the Panorama PON Client workstation, follow these steps:
  • Ensure that the Windows Server is running.
  • Log on to the Windows Server, based on local procedures.
  • Start the Client by selecting one of the following steps:
  1. Click on the panorama PON icon .
  2. On the Windows Client platform, select Start > All Apps> Tellabs > Panorama PON Client 31.x.x> Click on Panorama Client  31.x.x. to start the program.
