Global OLT Synchronization
Panorama PON supports the capability to initiate a database synchronization for all provisioned OLTs managed by the server.
| Note: Only users with Admin security level can perform this procedure. |
To initiate a Global OLT synchronization:
- In the Common Tree, select the Network node.
- In the Application View Bar, click the Sync icon (
). - The Sync view below displays:
- The total number of provisioned OLTs on the Panorama PON server.
- The number of OLTs that have completed the sync process.
- The number of OLTs that have failed the sync process.
- The total amount of time that the global sync process has been active.
- The average time spent for each OLT.
If a global OLT sync has already been initiated, these numbers reflect the status of the sync currently in progress.

- Confirm that a sync is not already in progress and click the button.

Note: A second global sync cannot be started if a global OLT sync is already in progress. - In the Warning dialog, click the Yes button to confirm the Global OLT sync.
- Monitor the progress information that appears as the sync process continues.
- When it is necessary to interrupt a Global OLT sync, the following options are available:
- To pause a sync operation, click the Suspend button.
- To continue a sync operation after it has been suspended, click the Continue button.
- To fully stop a sync operation, click the Cancel button. Panorama PON completes the sync for the OLT in progress at that time and displays a confirmation that the sync was aborted.
- Global OLT sync events are written to the GlobalSync.log file, which is located in the /opt/bb- mgr/server/data/Jlogger directory.
- Global sync start
- Global sync completion
- OLT sync start (for each OLT)
- OLT sync completed (for each OLT)
- OLT sync failed (for each OLT, when applicable)
The log file is maintained until the next global sync is started.
