Expand IP Pool

After creating an IP Pool during the Add OLT process (refer to “Adding a Tellabs 1100 Series ONT”), the pool can be expanded but cannot be made smaller or have removed any IP addresses that are already part of the pool. An OLT’s existing IP pool can be viewed and changed from the IP Pool property tab.

Available IP shows the number of IPs in the existing pool that are still available, and List of Used IP

Shows where IPs are currently in use.

1. Logon to EMS and in the Network common tree, right-click on the target OLT and select Properties from the dropdown list.
   
   
2. Select the IP Pool tab, the Network Elements Screen is displayed.
   
   
    
3. In IP Pool Starting and/or IP Pool Ending, add the additional IP addresses, and click the Apply button. The Available IP and Total are updated to reflect the expanded pool.
4. Click the Refresh button to view the additions to the List of Used IP.
5. When finished, click the  Close button.
