ONT Config Examples

Place an ONT in eStop

Note:  Placing an ONT in eSTOP on the PON will cause it to stop transmitting onto the PON and turn off its laser transmitter.  It will still listen on the PON.
  • Command Path – tolt>ont>config>
  • Module – tolt
  • Container – ont
  • Container – config
  • Type –  Example Parameter
    • *Aid – MDS1-1-1-1
    • ont forced-stop-mode true

  1. From the MDS1-ESUA<Config># command line, input tolt ont config MDS1-1-1-1 and press Enter
  2. Input ont forced-stop-mode true, and press Enter.
