Network
The Devices Network view provides a virtual view of the network and its servers.
The device display area has four tabs that include Alarms, Recovery, OLT Download and Add OLT functions.
Alarms
The Alarms tab allows the user to display the OLT alarms in an Active or Archived state.
Recovery
The Recovery tab allows the user to Backup or Restore OLT data.
Backup
- Logon to EMS and in the Network common tree, right-click on the target OLT and select Backup from the dropdown list.
- After clicking on the Backup tab, select the OLT server for backup from the Available OLT List, select the Backup Format, Remote Mode and click on the Stage button.
- The selected backup information will be added to a staged Backup List.
- When the list is complete, click on the Start Backup button.
- Download status will display the progress of the software download.
- The requested OLT backup will be stored for later recovery.
Restore
- Logon to EMS and in the Network common tree, right-click on the target OLT and select Recovery from the dropdown list.
- After clicking on the Recovery tab, select the OLT server for Recovery from the Restore OLT List.
- Configure the Update Mode, Data Mode and Remote Mode, then highlight the Backup File from the Available Backup File List.

- After configuring the restore file, click on the Start Restore button.
OLT Download
- Logon to EMS and in the Network common tree, right-click on the target OLT and select OLT Download from the dropdown list.
- Select the software version from the Select Software Version dropdown list and click on the
Download as Standby version button.

- Download Status displays the progress of the download and when finished will display the software version.
Add OLT
- Logon to EMS and in the Network common tree, right-click on the target OLT and select Add OLT from the dropdown list.
- Enter the IP Address for the OLT and click on the Next button.
- The OLT Configuration screen is displayed. Add or update the displayed information and click on the Next button.
- The New OLT will be added to the Network Tree.
