EMS System Administrator Guide
Introduction
The Panorama PON Element Management System (EMS) allows customers to manage and monitor Tellabs equipment, including Tellabs 1100 Series Optical Line Terminals (OLTs), Tellabs 1000 Voice Gateway (VGW) NE, and Tellabs Optical Network Terminals (ONTs). This document will document the EMS installation and system administration for Panorama PON.

Introduction
This section describes the hardware and software requirements for installing the Panorama PON Element Management System (EMS) software release 30.1.x or above. Read this chapter carefully before installing Panorama PON EMS software.
The Panorama PON EMS Server can be installed on Windows platforms running the Windows Server OSes. The Panorama EMS Client can be installed on individual users' machines to allow them to remotely manage the system. The Panorama PON EMS Client can be installed on the same platform as the server or on individual users' computers by installing the client.
