PON EMS Device/Anchor Certificate Menu
Use the following procedures to import device or anchor certificates:
- From the Certificate Manager Menu, input 3 and press Enter. The following sub-menus and prompts are displayed.
1) Replace the Current Device Certificate. 2) Replace All Anchor Certificates. 3) Append to the Existing Anchor Certificates. 10) Exit. Enter an index from the menu above:_
Replace the Current Device Certificate
Use the following procedure to replace the current device certificate.
- Input 1, and press Enter. The following message and prompt are displayed.
C:TellabsPanoramaPONbbmgrserver>set EMS_HOME=C:TellabsPanoramaPONbbmgr Panorama Certificate Administrator Name? _ - Input the Certificate Administrator Name, and press Enter. The following prompt is displayed.
Panorama Certificate Administrator Password? _ - Input the Certificate Administrator Name, and press Enter. The following prompt is displayed.
Panorama Certificate Administrator Password? _ - Input the Certificate Administrator Name, and press Enter. The following prompt is displayed.
Panorama Certificate Administrator Password? _ - Input the Certificate Administrator Password, and press Enter. The following prompt is displayed.
Full path to device (p12,pem) certificate? _ - Input the full path to the .p12 or .pem device certificates, and press Enter. For example:
C:certdeviceCert
Note: Panorama device certificates should be in Public Key Cryptography Standards (.p12 or .pem) format. - The following prompt is displayed.
Device certificate password? _ - Input the device certificate password assigned when the certificate was issued and press Enter. The following prompt is displayed.
Full path to device (p12,pem) certificate? _ - Input the full path to the folder containing the .p12 or .pem anchor certificates, and press Enter. For example: C:certanchorCert.
Note: Panorama anchor certs should be in either Privacy Enhanced Mail (.pem) or DER (.der) format. - Messages similar to the following are displayed.
Device Certificate Import Successful. Panorama Settings: Certificate Nickname Trust Attributes SSL,S/MIME,JAR/XPI defaultAvaya-cacert CT,C,C tellabs CT,C,C AdminCA1 CT,C,C ca27 CT,C,C Product_Root CT,C,C tellabsca CT,C,C edcom-ca CT,C,C ca2 CT,C,C SIP_Product CT,C,C dtdmoralesd u,u,u Pon EMS certificate import or restore successful. - The PON EMS device/Anchor Certificate menu is displayed.
- When operations in the PON EMS device/Anchor Certificate menu are complete, Input 10, and press Enter, to return to the Certificate Manager menu.
Replace All Anchor Certificates
To replace all anchor certificates, follow these steps:
- Input 2, and press Enter. The following message and prompt are displayed.
C:TellabsPanoramaPONbbmgrserver>=set EMS_HOME=c:TellabsPanoramaPONbbmgr Panorama Certificate Administrator Name? _ - Input the Certificate Administrator Name, and press Enter. The following prompt is displayed.
Panorama Certificate Administrator Password? _ - Input the Certificate Administrator Password, and press Enter. The following prompt is displayed.
Full path to folder containing anchor certs (in .pem or .crt format)?: _ - Input the full path to the folder containing the anchor certs (in .pem or .crt format), and press Enter. For example: C:certsRedcom-Avaya-Anchors. Information similar to the following is displayed.
Importing Trust Anchor: defaultAvaya-cacert Importing Trust Anchor: tellabs Importing Trust Anchor: Product_Root Importing Trust Anchor: tellabsca Importing Trust Anchor: Redcom-ca Importing Trust Anchor: ca2 Importing Trust Anchor: AdminCA1 Importing Trust Anchor: ca27 Importing Trust Anchor: SIP_Product Panorama Settings: Certificate Nickname Trust Attributes SSL,S/MIME,JAR/XPI tlabs_cert u,u,u defaultAvaya-cacert CT,C,C tellabs CT,C,C AdminCA1 CT,C,C ca27 CT,C,C tlabc_cert u,u,u Product_Root CT,C,C tellabsca CT,C,C Redcom-ca CT,C,C ca2 CT,C,C SIP_Product CT,C,C Pon EMS certificate import or restore successful. - The PON EMS device/Anchor Certificate menu is displayed.
- When operations in the PON EMS device/Anchor Certificate menu are complete, input 10, and press Enter , to return to the Certificate Manager menu.
Append to the Existing Anchor Certificates
Use the following procedure to append to the existing anchor certificates.
- Input 3, and press Enter. The following message and prompt are displayed.
C:TellabsPanoramaPONbbmgrserver>set EMS_HOME=C:TellabsPanoramaPONbbmgr Panorama Certificate Administrator Name? _ - Input the Certificate Administrator Name, and press Enter. The following prompt is displayed.
Panorama Certificate Administrator Password? _ - Input the Certificate Administrator Password, and press Enter. The following prompt is displayed.
Full path to the anchor cert (in .pem or .crt format)?: _ - Input the full path to the folder containing the anchor certs (in .pem or .crt format), and press Enter.. For example: C:certsRedcom-Avaya-Anchors. Information similar to the following are displayed.
Importing Trust Anchor: tellabsca Importing Trust Anchor: daveAvaya-cacert1 Panorama Settings: Certificate Nickname Trust Attributes SSL,S/MIME,JAR/XPI tellabs CT,C,C AdminCA1 CT,C,C ca27 CT,C,C defaultAvaya-cacert CT,C,C Product_Root CT,C,C Redcom-ca CT,C,C ca2 CT,C,C SIP_Product CT,C,C dtdmoralesd u,u,u tellabsca CT,C,C Pon EMS certificate import or restore successful. - The PON EMS device/Anchor Certificate menu is displayed.
- When operations in the PON EMS device/Anchor Certificate menu are complete, input 10, and press Enter to return to the main Certificate Manager menu.
