Power Supply Installation
OLT2 Power
Power for the OLT is supplied by a 150W Power Supply (81.11P-PWIL150W) using an AC power cord (81.11W-C5TYPB-R6) on one end and an 8-pin Molex connector "A" or "B" power connector on the back of the OLT2. Two power supplies may be installed for a "redundant" configuration.
Power Supply Connections

Network Powered Systems
- For network-powered systems, the Low Voltage Remote Power Cable (81.11W-2W8M) connects into the "A" or "B" power connector on the back of the OLT2. It comes with two quick connectors.
- In the bulk DC power supply, turn off or disconnect the DC power for the cable connecting to the location where the OLT is being installed.

Note: Make note which wire (color/stripe/etc.) is positive on the bulk wire cable. - Route the bulk DC power cable to within 8" of the OLT rear. Return to the bulk DC power supply location and use a DMM to make sure that there is no voltage on the wires of the remote bulk DC cable before proceeding further.
- Strip about 3/16 inch of insulation from the ends of the remote bulk DC cable and twist the strands of each wire tightly.
- Connect the two (2) wires of the bulk DC cable to the 8 pin Molex quick connect cable (P1) by joining with insulated butt connectors (18-22 AWG).

- Connect the P1 connector to the OLT when directed in the Power Up section.
Power Supply Mounting
The power supply can be wall mounted with a snap-in power supply mounting bracket (81.11K BKONTPS 150).
Power Supply Mounting Bracket

- Place the mounting bracket on the surface it will be attached to. Position the bracket so that it will hold the power supply in the desired orientation.
- Select at least two holes in the bottom of the bracket and mark the mounting surface.
- Carefully drill holes in the marked locations appropriate for the fasteners that will be used.
- Install drywall or masonry anchors in their holes if they are used.
- Hold the bracket in position and secure with #10 screws through the selected holes.
