Preparation for OLT Support
Each system release usually includes updated network element (NE) software application codes that reside in the network on the Tellabs 1100 Series and Tellabs 1000 Voice Gateway equipment modules. For initial system installation and for system upgrades, the network element software must be loaded or updated on the Panorama PON EMS Server in the appropriate location.
Panorama PON EMS server for Windows enables remote manual and/or automatic software download, as well as remote software upgrade and switch capabilities for the managed Tellabs Access equipment. This is accomplished by performing Software Download procedures as detailed in the Tellabs 1100 Series Optical LAN Managing the PON EMS User Guide. And the Tellabs 1000 Voice Gateway Application Guide.
