Reset Factory Defaults
| Note: Log on with Admin user privileges to perform this procedure. |
This section contains the procedures to perform a Restore Default.
The resetdefaults command enables the administrator to reset the ESU board back to factory defaults, removing all the current provisioning information.
| Warning: Unless a backup has been performed of the current database, there is no way to recover the system configuration data. |
- Command Path - resetdefaults
- Command Path - olt resetdefaults (OLT2 only)

Note: **=olt - Add olt to the CLI Command Path for OLT2.
- From an ESUx> prompt, input ** resetdefaults, and press Enter. Output similar to the following is displayed:
************************************************************* * Warning all provisioning and board specific configuration * * will be lost and the complete shelf will be reset * *************************************************************

Warning: This command will remove all provisioning information, proceed with caution at the next prompt. - The next prompt will ask to continue.
Do you wish to continue(Yes/No) : -
Input Yes and press Enter to return the board to factory defaults.
- Input No and press Enter to return to the ESUx> command prompt.

Note: The prompt will return until the user enters a correct answer.
