Turnup (tn)

The TurNup command activates the TurNup wizard which is a shortened version of the previous TurNup command. When user input is required the line is terminated with the default value in parentheses or square brackets followed by a colon, e.g. (Y) : To use the default value, press ENTER; otherwise enter the value and press ENTER. A typical TurNup wizard interaction is shown:

• Command Path - wiz>element-management>TurNup
• Object1 - element-management 
• Object2 - TurNup (tn)
  • Actions - 
    • run - run system TurNup
      • * turnuptype - Y/y to continue with turnup Configuration...
    • show - Display current TurNup settings

Run

1. From the ESUx> command line, input wizard element-manager tn run, and press Enter. Output similar to the following is displayed:

Warning: The warning below will appear if  IP address has changed: Warning: IP address has changed, and hence the OLT must be deleted from the EMS and re-added  with Read from OLT Delete and re-add of the OLT WILL DELETE ALL PROTECTION GROUPS and VOICE GATEWAY CROSSCONNECTS.
