Task Scheduler

The Task Scheduler has three schedules available: 

• OLT Backup
• EMS DB Backup
• OLT Software Download

An OLT and EMS DB backup should be scheduled at least once a week. Typically, a backup is scheduled at a time when network use will be low.

The OLT Software Download should be scheduled on an as-needed basis (i.e. When a new software version is announced). The software download should be scheduled at a time of low network use to prep the system for an upgrade.

Below, the Add Task button will be a list of existing Schedules with the option to delete.

 

Add Task Schedule

The following procedure is used to create a new scheduled task.

1. Click on the Add Task button.
2. Fill out the task fields and click on the Save button when finished.

Edit Policy Profile

The following procedure is used to reschedule an existent task.

1. Click on the Edit Profile button.
   
   
2. Select a task profile to edit from the list of tasks.
3. Edit the necessary task fields and click on the Save button when finished.
