Provisioning the Tellabs Configuration Server

The Tellabs 1134 and Tellabs 1150 Optical LANs, support SIP/VoIP provisioning via the Tellabs Configuration Server (TConfig). If using a softswitch rather than the Voice Gateway, the TConfig server must be provisioned.

To provision the TConfig server for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP):

  1. Logon to EMS and in the Network common tree, right-click on the target OLT and select Properties from the dropdown list.

  2. Select the VoIP tab, input Config Server Address, and assign the Config Server Port.

  3. Configure the required fields, and click the Apply button.

Description

Config Server Address

Enter the IP address of the Tellabs Configuration (TConfig) Server to be used for SIP/VoIP provisioning for this OLT if the TConfig Server is not co-located with Panorama PON EMS.

Config Server Port

Defines the communication port of the Tellabs Configuration Server. The default value is 3000.

VoIP Config Method Used

Displays the configured method (TConfig is the only available value).
