Assigning PON Profiles to Links

This section provides the following procedures related to working with PON profiles. To apply a PON Profile:

1. In the Common Tree, select the OLT, card, or port.
2. In the Application View Bar, click Ports ( ).
3. In the Ports view, select the PON tab.

   Note: PON Profiles can be assigned to individual ports, all ports on the OLT, or to selected specific, non-contiguous, ports.

4. To assign a PON Profile to:

       Individual Links

5. Select the individual port entry.
   
   
    
6. Go to Step 10.

       Contiguous Links

7. Select the first port of a contiguous block of ports, then press and hold the Shift key and select the last port of a contiguous block of ports.

           or

           Select the first port of a contiguous block of ports and drag the mouse to the last of the contiguous ports.

8. Go to Step 10.

        Specific, non-Contiguous, Links

9. Select a port, then, while pressing and holding the Ctrl key, select the additional non-contiguous port.
10. Right click and select Profile and Admin State.
    
    
     
11. On the Admin State screen, check Change admin state.
12. Select Enable or Disable, as appropriate.
13. For the PON Profile, check Assign a new profile.
14. Select a profile using the drop-down list.
15. Click the Apply button.
