Panorama PON User Guide
The Tellabs Panorama Passive Optical Network (PON) Element Management System (EMS) is a Windows-based network element management system that provides a robust graphical user interface (GUI) and manages the various elements in a Tellabs PON from a remote location. This book describes the procedures and capabilities used to manage the Tellabs 1100 Series Optical Line Terminals (OLTs) using the Windows Server platform.
Panorama PON EMS provides the following centralized functions for networks containing Tellabs optical networks:
- Configuration
- Provisioning
- Fault detection, diagnostics, and resolution
- Performance evaluation and tuning
- Network administration
- Security management
Panorama PON EMS is designed to support the following Tellabs platforms:
- Tellabs Bolt Optical Line Terminal
- Tellabs OLT Series Optical Line Terminal
- Tellabs 1100 Series Optical Line Terminal
Tellabs 1150 and Tellabs 1134/OLT6 Optical LAN OLTs support the Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON).
