Auto Match

Use the following commands to create and configure a protection group on a PON.

Note: * = required parameter

Command Path - interface>pon>protection-group
Command - pon
Object - protection-group
Action -
- auto-MATCH - auto match for non-paired ONTs in the specified group, this makes the ONT ID on both PONs be the same.
  - name= - PON Protection Group Name

From the ESUx> command line, input interface pon protection-group auto-match name=tellabs1 and press Enter. Output similar to the following is displayed:
ESUx> interface pon protection-group auto-match name=tellabs1 <enter> Success ESUx> _ Previous | Next
