Delete

When a profile is deleted, the information is removed from the Tellabs OLT database and any ONTs that use the profile. The LLDP Profile Delete Status dialog (described in this procedure) provides the ability to monitor the status and results of a profile delete request.

Use the following procedure to delete a ACL Profile:

  1. Select the Profile Name from the Profile/Template List to edit and click the Delete a Selected Profile () icon in the Main Menu bar or right-click the profile name and use the pop-up menu to select Delete.
  2. To Delete more than one name press and hold down CTRL and select more than one profile and then select the Delete icon.

  3. A Warning Message is displayed.

  4. Click on the Yes button.
  5. The ACL Profile Delete Status dialog will be blank while the profile is updated, and the result will be displayed showing the status when complete.

  6. The Close button will go from greyed out to active when finished, with no errors reported and the removal of the profile from the Profile Names. Click on the Close button to finish.
  7.  If errors are reported, the exceptions appear in the Error Status section. Do one of the following:
    • Click Retry to update these ONTs again
    • Click Terminate to end the process with the errors.
Information Note: Typically, these OLT errors are caused by a loss of communication between the Panorama PON server and the OLT,
  8. When terminating a process with errors, a warning message confirms that the process was aborted. In the dialog that appears, click on the OK button.
  9. When finished, click on the Close button.
  10. If no further profiles are to be deleted, click on the Close button to close the ACL Delete Status dialog.
  11. Click on the Close button again to exit the Ethernet Port Profiles screen.
