Downloading Software Upgrades/Patches
Software upgrades and/or patches are made available on the Tellabs Portal (http://nexus.tellabs.com/). Upgrades and/or patches are uploaded in a compressed (.zip) format shortly after the release of the upgrade or patch. Once extracted, the upgrade or patch is in International Standards Organization (ISO) image format for Windows.
To download a zip file containing the upgrade or patch from the Tellabs Portal:
- Launch a browser, (i.e., Firefox, Chrome).
- Input nexus.tellabs.com in the browser address bar and press Enter.
- Login to the Tellabs Portal.
- Click the Support tab and select the Product Information and Downloads option.
- Click on the Optical LAN Software button.
- Scroll down the list to locate the desired software product, upgrade, or patch.
- Click the file to download. It should download to the downloads' folder on the local host.
- Navigate to the downloads folder and double-click the zip file.
- The file is extracted.
