Edit

The edit command will add a new rule or remove a existing rule.

Note: * = required parameter, + = select one parameter from list

• Command Path - template>ont>edit>name=TellabscliTest>rule=ont120 
• Object - ont
• Actions -
  •  edit - Edit an ONT template profile
    • * name= - Name of ONT profile to edit
    • * Rule -  Add or remove a rule (remove a rule by using ‘no rule’)
      • * ont-type=  - Select an ont type

        Note: The list below will change as we retire and add new ONTs to our inventory. Use the ont-type=? (help) to get a listing of available ONTs that support the version currently being used.

1. From the ESUx > command line, input template and press Enter. Output similar to the following is displayed:

   ESUx> template <enter> ESUx template> _

2. From the ESUx terminal> command line, input ont edit name=TellabscliTest rule=ont120, and press Enter. Output similar to the following is displayed:

   ESUx template> ont edit name=TellabsCliTest rule=ont120 <enter> success ESUx template> _
