Pre-Provisioning

One of the nice features is that the IP-POTS card can be preconfigured but left in a disabled state.  This allows completely prepping the office served by existing T1000 RPOTS for cutover from the switch to the IP-POTS card.  The IP POTs card can then be replaced and the service will update and cut over to SIP without any other manual intervention.   This enables a flash cut with a very brief outage on a card-by-card basis as the card is replaced.
 

Hardware Requirements

Supported Shelves: Any T1000 DMAX 1120 Shelf , also supported in the Tellabs T1048 Shelf.

Required Cards:  2xELU3 and 2xEBC3 (per additional expansion shelf), , 2xCPU3, 2xGigE222, IPMI3, 2xRPSUs

Required EMS Software:  Panorama INM 12.0

Required NE Software:   FP18.0, AUP for upgrades.

Optional Hardware: MTU, used for metallic drop testing.
