  6. The following table describes the contents of each field.

    Option Description Notes
    Interface AID

Displays the AID of the selected NET Uplink Interface.

Defaulted is the selected NET interface

    CIST Configuration
    Port Priority

The preference that STP gives this port relative to other ports for forwarding traffic out of the spanning tree.

A higher numerical value means a lower priority; thus, the highest priority is 8.

    Default 128

    Possible values: 8 - 252
    (configurable in increments of 4)

    Port Hello Time (secs)

The interval of time between each configuration BPDU sent by the root bridge.

    Default 2 seconds

    Possible values: 1 - 10 seconds

    Port Path Cost

The cost of using the port to reach the root bridge. When selecting among multiple links to the root bridge, STP chooses the port with the lowest path cost and blocks the other paths. Each link type has its own default STP path cost.

    Default 2000

    Possible values are 0 - 65535

Port Internal Path Cost The configured path cost on a link connected to this port within the internal MSTP region. Default 2000

    Admin Point-to-Point MAC

The Point-to-Point MAC checkbox that indicates the link to another switch. Default 0
Admin Edge Port The Edge Port checkbox that is not expected to receive Bridge Protocol Data Unit (BPDU) on the port. Default disabled
Auto Edge Port The Auto Edge Port checkbox that indicates Bridge Protocol Data Unit (BPDU) received on the port. Default enabled
Enable STP The Enable STP checkbox indicates STP Bridge Protocol Data Units (BDPUs) transmitted on the interface link. Default enabled
Restricted TCN The Restricted TCN checkbox indicates the count of restricted Topology Change Notices (TCNs) transmitted. Default enabled
Restricted Role The Restricted Role checkbox indicates Default disabled
    MST Configuration
MSTI The current MST Instance ID. This is user-selectable and affects which Multiple Spanning Tree Instance's data is shown in the MST Status group of the window. User-defined
ID The current MSTI Identifier of this bridge.
Priority The priority assigned this MSTI ID.
