Default Installation

The steps in this section demonstrate the default installation process. The custom installation process is covered in Custom Installation.

1. The installation software will automatically set up the following default settings:

   Note: Go to Custom Installation for instructions on custom installations for Postgres and to Oracle Installations for instructions on Oracle installations.

   • No TConfig 
   • Optical LAN
   • Postgres database
   • Default RMI Ports
     • 11xx EMS Server: (7101)
     • HTTP Server: 8095
     • HTTP Secure Server: 8090
     • HTTP RMI Port: 7102
   • Default installation location: c:TellabsPanoramaPON
2. Select Default and click the Next button to continue.
   
   
    
3. A Please Wait Screen is displayed as Panorama PON is configured. 
   
   
    

   Note: Should a Firewall message block some features of this installation, click on the Allow Access button to continue.

4. After configuration, the Pre-Installation Summary dialog is displayed.
   
   
    
5. If the Summary information is correct, click on the Install button.
   1. If the Summary information is not correct, click on the Previous button to go back to the screen that needs to be corrected.
   2. After the Summary information is corrected, click on the Install button.
6. The Installing Tellabs Panorama PON EMS dialog is displayed.
   
   
    
7. The Panorama PON installation/configuration takes a few minutes and then a Please Wait screen is displayed. 
   
   
8. After configuration, the Installing Tellabs Panorama PON EMS screen is displayed.
   
   
    
9. Progress bars (like the one below) are displayed as the installation progresses. 
10. The Install Complete dialog is displayed.
    
    
     
11. Click on the Done button to complete the installation.
