Deleting an Uplink Interface

An uplink interface can be deleted only if no VLANs are mapped to it, and it wasn’t designated as the interface to Panorama PON during turnup.

To delete an uplink interface:

  1. In the Application View Bar, click LAGs ().
  2. In the Common Tree, select the OLT.
  3. Click the NNI/Uplink Interfaces tab, and then select the uplink interface to delete.
  4. On the toolbar, click the Delete ().
    Information Note: If there are no VLANs associated with the uplink interface, the Error message will not display (go to Step 8).
  1. An Error message warns that all VLAN associations on the uplink interface must be removed.


     
  1. Open the VLAN Mapping table, previously to remove the VLANs associated with the uplink interface, described in Associating VLANs with Interfaces.
  2. Click the Remove Specific VLAN(s) button to delete VLANs associated with the uplink interface.
  3. Select the uplink interface to remove it. A Warning message is displayed.


     
  1. Click the Yes button to delete the selected uplink interface.
