Editing an Uplink Interface

Caution: Changing the Selected Links in an uplink interface is service-affecting. Add uplinks prior to enabling them. Removing uplinks is briefly service-affecting. |
An uplink interface can be changed in Panorama PON regardless of where it is created. If an uplink interface is created in the Craft Interface, it can be configured in Panorama PON, where additional parameters are available.
To change an uplink interface:
- In the Application View Bar, click LAGs (
). - In the Common Tree, select the OLT.
- Select the Uplink Interfaces tab and select the uplink interface to change. The Properties' dialog is displayed with the Status tab selected.
- Select the Configuration tab.

- Change the User Label, Module Type, Speed, Hashing Algorithm, DSCP Profile, Pause Frames, Available and/or Selected Links, as appropriate from the drop-down lists.
- Is this uplink interface to support LACP or have the LACP attributes modified?
- If YES, go to Step 7.
- If NO, go to Step 12.
- At this time, LACP can also be configured, or the LACP instance changed on this interface by selecting the LACP Configuration tab. The LACP Configuration screen is displayed.

- In the LACP Configuration screen, make the necessary changes, or enable LACP on this uplink interface by selecting Configure LACP?
- Click the Apply button, to apply the LACP configuration changes (a confirmation message is displayed).

- Click the up arrow to close the LACP Config screen.

- Click the Ok button to close the confirmation message.
- Review the DSCP Profile column on the Uplink Interface tab.
- When finished, click the Close button to exit the Uplink Interface Property dialog.
