Enable Custom Settings
- Select Custom and click on Next to continue.

- The following dialog is displayed. Secured Connection is recommended for most installs. This turns on encryption between the EMS client and server. All connections must use the same settings as, once the server has enabled encryption, only encrypted clients are allowed. It is recommended that new installations use Secured Clients to protect data integrity while configuring the system. Checking this box will generate self-signed certificates and secure the links.

- Select Secured Connection and click on Next to continue.
- The following dialog is displayed. Optical LAN should always be checked.

- Accept Optical LAN (if required) and click on Next to continue.
- The following dialog is displayed. Multiple Tenant Access Control should always be unchecked in current releases.
- Leave Multiple Tenant Access Control unchecked and click on Next to continue.

Note: If VoIP Service via SoftSwitch is desired Select Multiple Tenant Access Control and click on Next to continue. - The Enable Integrated Tconfig dialog is displayed. Integrated TConfig is utilized to configure Analog Voice on Tellabs ONTs. The TConfig server sends configuration data via HTTP to the ONTs and tracks all voice configuration. If you plan to utilize Analog voice on your ONTs, then select TConfig.

- Select the appropriate setting for Integrated TConfig and click on Next to continue.
- The following dialog is displayed. The IP address selected here must be one that is accessible on the voice VLAN either via routing, or via a secondary NIC on the EMS that can talk to the ONTs on the Voice VLAN.

- If you enabled TConfig, then select a Management and TConfig Address and click on Next to continue.
- The Specify RMI Ports dialog is displayed.

- Accept the defaults or edit port information and click on Next to continue.
- The Specify the Postgres Data Folder dialog is displayed.

Note: In some cases, Postgres and/or Panorama are not always installed on C: drive. Verify the correct drive where postgres is to be installed.

- Click on Next to accept or change the values on the next two dialog screens and continue with the installation.
- The Schema Upgrade Required dialog is displayed if the schema has changed.

Selec Upgrade to continue with the Panorama PON installation.

The previous release’s uninstaller is called and the Uninstall Tellabs Panorama PON dialog is displayed.

- Select Uninstall to uninstall the current PON installation.
- The Uninstalling process is displayed and, after uninstalling, the Restart To Continue Upgrade dialog is displayed.

- Select Restart Now and click on the Done button. The upgrade will continue after the restart.

Note: If it does not restart, you must restart it manually. Do not allow it to restart later. - The Please Wait dialog is displayed.

- After configuration, the Get User Input dialog is displayed.

- Enter the Password and click on Next to continue.

Note: If the default Postgres password was used during the initial installation of Postgres, then just click next, otherwise, enter the customer's unique password and click Next. - The installation program will configure the upgrade for the system.

- The Pre-Installation Summary dialog is displayed.

- Accept the Summary and click on Install o continue.
- Installation will begin.

- Progress bars (like the ones below) are displayed as the installation nears completion.

The Upgrade Successful dialog is displayed once a successful schema upgrade is detected.

- Click on OK to continue with the upgrade.
- The Start Tellabs Panorama PON Services dialog is displayed.

- Click on Yes to start the Panorama PON services and complete the installation.
- After installation, the Install Complete dialog is displayed.

- Click on Done to complete the installation.
- Panorama PON is now upgraded.
