Upgrade EMS
- Download the Panorama Upgrade Software to the Panorama server.
- It is recommended that you quit all programs before continuing with this installation.
- In the Windows download folder, right-click the PanoramaPon_.xxx.exe file in the Download folder and select
Run as Administration. The PanoramaPon_.xxx.exe file will launch the Panorama PON and install the program.- Give Windows permission to install the program when prompted.
- The program will launch, and the following dialog is displayed.

- Click on the Next button to continue.
- The License Agreement dialog is displayed.

- Select I accept the terms of the License Agreement and click on the Next button to continue.

Note: The license file should have been obtained prior to starting the upgrade. - The Choose Install Set dialog is displayed.

- Select Panorama PON Server and Client and click on the Next button to continue.
- The Application Already Installed dialog is displayed.

- Click on Upgrade to continue.
- The License Upgrade Required dialog is displayed.

- Specify the full path to the PON License file, then click on the Next button to continue.
- The Default or Custom Install dialog is displayed.

- Select Default and click on the Next button to continue.

Note 1: To Enable Secured Connection, Multiple Tenant Access Control, and TConfig, go to Enable Custom Settings.
Note 2: Should an error message occur after a successful upgrade, Start the Upgrade again and select Custom, to Enable a Secured Connection. - The Select IP Addresses dialog is displayed.

- Select a Management Address from the dropdown menu and click on the Next button to continue.
- The Specify the Postgres Data Folder dialog is displayed.

Note: In some cases, Postgres and/or Panorama are not always installed on C: drive. Verify the correct drive where postgres is to be installed.

- Click on the Next button to accept or change the values on the next two dialog screens and continue with the installation.
- The Schema Upgrade Required dialog is displayed if the schema has changed.

Select Upgrade to continue with the Panorama PON installation.

The Uninstall Tellabs Panorama PON dialog is displayed. This is normal. The installer will uninstall the old version and then install the more recent version.

- Select Uninstall to uninstall the current PON installation.
- The Restart to Continue Upgrade dialog is displayed.

- Select Restart Now and click on the Done button. The upgrade will continue after the restart.

WARNING: If it does not restart, you must restart it manually. Do not allow it to restart later. - The Please Wait dialog is displayed.

- After configuration, the Get User Input dialog is displayed.

- Enter the Password and click on the Next button to continue.

Note: If the default Postgres password was used during the initial installation of Postgres, then just click next, otherwise, enter the customer's unique password and click the Next button. - The installation program will configure the upgrade for the system.

- The Pre-Installation Summary dialog is displayed.

- Accept the Summary and click on the Install button to continue.
- Installation will begin.

- Progress bars (like the ones below) are displayed as the installation progresses.

The Upgrade Succeeded dialog is displayed once a successful schema upgrade is detected.

- Click on the OK button to continue with the upgrade.
- The Start Tellabs Panorama Services dialog is displayed.

- Click on Yes to start the Panorama PON services and complete the installation.
- After installation, the Install Complete dialog is displayed.

- Click on Done to complete the installation.
- The Panorama PON is now upgraded.
