The MAC Menu Bar displays the selection of which VLAN to display MAC parameters and the ability to remove the ONT from the port.

Access to MAC is located on the ONT UNI Port Menu Bar.

 

 

The MAC parameters include the following:

• MAC Address - The hardware Media Access Control (MAC) address for the OLT.
• IP Address - When the EMS has it, the dynamic IP address associated with the MAC address. (EMS doesn’t display static IP addresses, used with the PPPoE protocol.).
• Time Remaining - Remaining Lease Time (seconds) when the EMS has this information for the displayed IP address, the remaining lease time in seconds is displayed.
• Entry Type - Identifies the entry type of either:
  • Software - when EMS captured the MAC address.
  • Hardware - when hardware captured the MAC address.
• Action - Remove

Remove

Select the Remove button to remove the ONT from the VLAN.
