Remove ACL Rule

ACL Profiles consist of a group of up to eight rules. The rules are executed in the order listed within the profile. If a rule is no longer required, it can be specifically removed from the rule index of the profile.

Use the following procedure to remove a rule from an ACL Profile:

1. Select the Profile Name from the Profile/Template List to edit and click the Edit a Current Profile () icon in the Main Menu bar or right-click the profile name and use the pop-up menu to select Edit. The Edit ACL Profile dialog is displayed.
   
   
    
2. In the Edit ACL Profile dialog, click the Remove Rule button.

   Note: The Rule name does not change, only the position in the execution order is changed.

3. The Edit ACL Profile dialog displays the removed rule.
   
   
    
4. When finished, click on the Apply button. 
5. An ACL Profile Edit Status dialog will be blank while the profile is updated, and the result will be displayed showing the status when complete.
   
    
6. Click on the Close  button to close the ACL Profile dialog.
7. Click on the Close button again to exit the Profiles screen.
