Move ACL Rule

ACL Profiles consist of a group of rules. Up to eight rules can be created per profile. Rules are executed in the order listed within the profile. If it is determined that the execution order is incorrect, the rules can be moved up or down in the rule index.

Use the following procedure to move a rule within an ACL Profile:

1. Select the Profile Name from the Profile/Template List to edit and click the Edit a Current Profile () icon in the Main Menu bar or right-click the profile name and use the pop-up menu to select Edit. The Edit ACL Profile dialog is displayed.
   
   
    
2. In the Edit ACL Profile dialog, select the rule to move. The Up/Down arrows become active on the right side of the Created Rules window.
3. Click the Up or Down arrow to move the selected rule(s) up or down in the rule index.

   Note: The Rule name does not change, only the position in the execution order is changed.

4. In the Edit ACL Profile dialog, click the Apply button.
5. An ACL Profile Edit Status dialog will be blank while the profile is updated, and the result will be displayed, showing the status when complete.
   
    
6. Click on the Close  button to close the ACL Profile dialog.
7. Click on the Close button again to exit the Profiles screen.
