Status Codes
The following table describes each of the Status Codes that can be displayed in the Status Code field. The displayed code represents the current status of the selected ONT and a method of clearing the alarm, where appropriate.
| Status Code | Meaning | Troubleshooting |
| MEA | Mismatch Equipment - Indicates that the type of actual ONT with the designated serial number does not match the provisioned ONT type. | Check provisioning to make sure that the provisioned ONT type and serial number match the actual ONT. |
| ACTV | Active - Indicates that the ONT is operational. | None |
| INACT | Inactive - Indicates that the ONT is inactive (not provisioned). | None or provision the ONT. |
| OOR | Out of Range - Indicates that the selected ONT is out of range of the PON. |

After correcting the range problem, manually set the ONT e-stop mode to "on" then back to "off". |
| OOS | Out of Service - Indicates that the ONT is not communicating with the OLT. | Ensure that the ONT is powered up and the fiber connection is good. |
| PREPROV | Pre-Provisioned - Indicates that the ONT has been provisioned but has not been detected on the PON since the last QOIU7 reboot. | Ensure that the ONT is powered up and the fiber connection is good. |
| ESTOPON |
Emergency Stop On - Indicates that the ONT has been intentionally placed in a non-responsive state. This can be done automatically if:

Manually set the eStop mode to "on" and then back to "off". If the ONT returns to estop automatically, cycle power on the ONT and try again. If the problem continues, replace the ONT. |
