Update Alarm Mappings

Panorama PON supports updating alarm mappings for alarms reported by Optical LAN Terminals (OLTs), network-wide on the EMS. The Alarm Mappings feature pushes any modified alarm profiles up to the EMS to managed OLTs. Refer to Application Note, Customize OLT Alarm Mappings, ENG-010485 about modifying alarm profiles. 

Note: Administrative privileges are required to update modified alarm profiles.

Use the following procedure to update all alarms globally on Panorama PON EMS:

1. From the Main Menu, select Edit > Update Alarm Mappings from the Main Menu Toolbar. The Update Alarm Mappings message is displayed.
    
   
2. Click on the Yes button, to update any modified alarm mapping profile, or click on the No button to close the message.
3. The Status for Updating Alarm Mappings displays the progress of the status update.
    
   
4. Click on the Close button when the update is complete.
