Configuring Dual NIC Systems to Support Integrated TConfig

When there is more than one NIC in the environment, it is critical to ensure that the EMS binds to the correct IP address for management.  The EMS will bind to the NIC and IP that has the lowest metric.  TConfig, if it is enabled, can bind to either the primary NIC/management IP or to the Secondary NIC/IP.  The Panorama PON EMS server hostname MUST always resolve to the management IP.

IP Address

The management IP address should be configured as a static IP address with the metrics properly set as described in the following steps in Configure the Primary Network Interface using Windows Server.
