Edit

Use the following procedure to Edit an Ethernet Port template:

1. In the Template screen, with the Ethernet Port tab active, select the Template Name to edit and click the Edit a current template
   
   () icon in the Main Menu bar.
   
   
    
2. The Edit Ethernet Port Template dialog is displayed. The edit fields will remain grayed out until a Rule is selected.
   
   
    
3. Select the Created Rule to edit from the Created Rules List.
   
   
    
4.  Make the rule changes and/or add a new rule and click on the Apply button. A Confirm Template Edit dialog will be displayed.  Click on the Yes button to proceed.
   
   
    
5. The Ethernet Port Edit Status window is displayed while the template attributes are being updated.
   
   
    
6. After the template has been updated, the Ethernet Port Edit Status dialog is displayed.
   
   
    
7. Click on the Close button and verify the Template is updated by viewing the Attributes window.
8. Return to Step 1 to edit another Ethernet Port Template.  Otherwise, when no further templates are to be edited, click on the Close button.
