Archiving Windows Backup

Perform the following procedure if the backup files are being archived or transferred using File Transfer Protocol (FTP) to a remote host.

1. Type the following command to navigate to the emsadmin folder if the backup file is being moved to a remote location, and press Enter.

   C:>cd C:TellabsPanoramaPONbbmgrserver

2. Create a zip file using the 7zip utility or the compression utility within the Windows File Manager. 
3. Select multiple backup files, right-click and select Send To. 
4.  Choose the option, Compressed (zipped) folder.
5. FTP the zipped file to a remote location for offline storage.
