ONT Template
The Panorama PON EMS is equipped with a predefined default Optical Network Terminal (ONT) template. The default ONT templates contains default rules for all supported ONTs.
The default template cannot be changed, but can be used to clone a customer-specific ONT Template. One ONT Template can be applied during the Add NE process . When an ONT is discovered, the ONT Template specified during the Add NE process applies the rules as ONTs are discovered by the OLT.
Only one ONT Template can be applied to a OLT and that template applies the rules to all supported ONTs on that OLT. The default ONT Template applies the most frequently used rules.
- Open a Panorama PON (EMS) session, select the ONT tab.
