Postgres Backup

Note: Panorama provides a weekly OLT backup schedule out of the box. This procedure is only needed if the user wants to reschedule an existing or create additional backup files. There is a limit of 15 total backup files being kept by Panorama.

1. Select Tools » Scheduler from the Main Menu.
   
   
2. The Task Scheduler Dialog is displayed. 
   
   
    
3. There are two backup options available, to select a New Task or Rescheduled Task.OLT Backup
4. To select a New task, click on the Schedule a New Task  icon.
5. A New Task dialog is displayed. 
   
   
    
6. Select OLT Backup from the Task Type dropdown.
7. Add the new OLT Backup schedule and click on the Close button.

EMS DB Backup

1. To select a New task, click on the Schedule a New Task  icon.
2. A New Task dialog is displayed.
   
   
    
3. Select EMS DB Backup from the Task Type dropdown.  Update the database username, password and path to ORACLE_HOME or the database directory.
4. Add the new EMS DB Backup schedule and click on the Close button.
