1150 OLT Installation

Introduction

This document provides instructions to install the Tellabs®1150 Optical Line Terminal (OLT). The 1150 is a self-contained and sealed unit, for mounting in standard 23-in (58.4cm) and 19-in (48.3cm) size racks. This guide describes the 100−220 VAC powering, suggested mounting instructions and turn up and the initialization procedures for the OLT1150. The Tellabs®1150 has only one customer replaceable part, it has a replaceable power module.

Revision B	Dec 2015	Additional instructions about switching loads from software release FP27.1 to FP25.6 before initial turnup of ESU2 card in support of SR29.0. Change to warnings in the erasedb command, reverting ESU2 to factory default settings.
